Edith van Schie<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">medewerkers ervaren namelijk druk om daar direct op te reageren. Een van de collega\u2019s vertelde dat werknemers al een wettelijk recht hebben om onbereikbaar te zijn. Klopt dat?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Het antwoord van mr. Edith van Schie<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Er is wel wetgeving in de maak over bereikbaarheid van werknemers buiten werktijd. Dat wetsvoorstel heette eerder inderdaad \u2018recht op onbereikbaarheid\u2019, maar die titel is aangepast. De bedoeling van het wetsvoorstel is namelijk niet dat werknemers het recht krijgen om onbereikbaar te zijn. Maar het heeft ook nadelen. Een van die nadelen is dat een collega die die middag met een kind is meegegaan naar voetbaltraining die tijd in de avond inhaalt en daardoor nog laat naar een andere collega mailt. Die collega kan dan druk ervaren om meteen te antwoorden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">Daarom is het sowieso, of dat nu wel of niet in de wet geregeld is, goed om daarover afspraken te maken. Het is heel simpel om je mail zo in te stellen dat een bericht zonder haast, pas de volgende ochtend om 8 uur, wordt afgeleverd.
