The new rate is \u00a3118.75, up from \u00a3116.75.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"\">The weekly rates of statutory maternity, adoption, paternity, shared parental and parental bereavement pay increase to \u00a3187.18, up from \u00a3184.03. The application process opened on 5 March 2025.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>IR35<\/strong>: Increases to <a href=\"https:\/\/hrcentre.uk.brightmine.com\/faq\/which-organisations-are-responsible-for-applying-the-ir35-rules\/165830\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the turnover and balance sheet thresholds<\/a> for financial years beginning on or after 6 April 2025 mean that some organisations will fall out of the scope of the IR35 rules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\"><strong>Employment tribunal awards<\/strong>: On 6 April 2025, <a href=\"https:\/\/hrcentre.uk.brightmine.com\/employment-law-guide\/unfair-dismissal\/20428\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">the employment tribunal award limits<\/a> increase.
