Fresh off its standing‑room‑only debut at SHRM26 in Orlando, Brightmine® and Equifax ® bring the conversation to a wider virtual audience.
Pay transparency laws continue to spread in the US and beyond, with more job applicants and employees coming under their umbrella each year. As the legal landscape becomes increasingly complex, pay transparency is quickly becoming an imperative – not only for compliance, but also for talent attraction, employee retention, company reputation and more.
We are now firmly in the pay transparency era where clarity, currency and credibility are non-negotiable. But pay transparency without a strategic, data-informed approach to salary structure and pay equity can backfire. More than ever, employers need to be able to explain and stand behind their pay practices in order to earn the trust of prospective and current employees and meet evolving expectations around fairness, clarity and pay equity.
This session focuses on how organizations can use pay transparency as a strategic lever by combining reliable market data, structured transparency practices, and clear communication to reduce risk, keep up with compliance requirements and align transparency with broader business goals.
Learning Outcomes:
- Navigate the current and evolving U.S. pay transparency landscape
- Identify and possibly avoid common regulatory mistakes and implementation pitfalls
- Use salary benchmarking to support pay transparency compliance and help reduce risk
