Major changes are coming to statutory sick pay (SSP) on 6 April 2026 that will affect how every organisation manages sickness absence. Whatever the size of your workforce, HR needs to understand the changes, how best to prepare for them – and how to make sure your organisation makes the most of them.

In this 60-minute webinar HR leader Rochelle Murinas will talk through the changes which are designed to make SSP fairer and more accessible – but also mean businesses need to prepare for the financial and administrative impact. Topics to be covered include:

  • Cash flow considerations and the need for wider workforce coverage
  • Absence tracking
  • Line manager training and practices
  • Communicating the changes effectively with employees

Rochelle will also discuss ways in which the changes can be used to strengthen workplace culture. There will be a chance to ask questions during the session.

We’ll wrap up with a quick Q&A to answer your top queries.
