When to include

Colorado employers should consider including this statement in their handbook. The Colorado Anti-Discrimination Act (CADA) and other Colorado antidiscrimination laws generally apply to all Colorado employers. The CADA’s prohibition against terminating or refusing to hire an individual solely because the person is married to a co-worker applies only to employers with more than 25 employees in Colorado.

In this guide, learn about:

  • Customizable handbook statement
  • Guidance for employers
