Summary

Colorado’s wage and hour law requires covered employers to pay nonexempt employees one and one-half times their regular rate of pay for any hours worked in excess of 40 per workweek, in excess of 12 hours per workday, or in excess of 12 consecutive hours without regard to the starting and ending time of the workday (excluding duty-free meal periods), whichever calculation results in the greater payment of wages.
