This announcement informs HR professionals that the Employment Law Guide sections previously titled Process of Termination and Voluntary Terminations have been enhanced and renamed Separation from Employment to better reflect the scope of topics covered.

In an effort to respond to the needs of HR professionals and improve the HR & Compliance Center user experience, we are excited to announce that the sections of the Employment Law Guide formerly titled Process of Termination and Voluntary Terminations have been renamed Separation From Employment.

The enhanced and renamed federal and state Employment Law Guide sections cover the following key topics:

  • Termination for cause
  • Severance packages
  • The Older Workers Benefit Protection Act
  • Resignation notice, constructive discharge and forced retirement
  • Final pat benefits
