Kelly Thomson
Kelly Thomson is a partner in the employment, engagement and equality team at international law firm RPC. In addition to advising regularly on significant organisational change programmes, including large-scale restructurings and changes to employment arrangements, Kelly has a focus on employee engagement and is passionate about issues of diversity, equality and inclusion.
Kelly is regularly called on by organisations grappling with their inclusion and diversity strategies and has real depth of knowledge on gender equality. She is co-host of acclaimed equality podcast The Fix with Michelle King. She is the firm’s partner lead for its ESG strategy.
Kelly also develops and provides training and seminars for clients’ teams and co-delivers RPC’s regular seminars and roundtables on a variety of topics.

Ellie Gelder
Ellie Gelder is a senior editor in the employment, engagement and equality team at international law firm RPC.
Having first worked as an employment lawyer in a leading provincial firm and for many years as a senior employment law editor at Brightmine, Ellie supports the employment team at RPC in producing external content on all aspects of employment law.
She also devises training materials for clients on all HR issues and has a particular passion for equality, diversity and inclusion.

Rachel Pears
Rachel Pears is an experienced employment lawyer at law firm RPC. Her passion for inclusion and diversity work led her to become Inclusion and Diversity Lead at the firm and more recently our Head of Responsible Business with the remit of shaping and driving its ESG strategy.
As well as providing in-house employment law advice, she is responsible for running the firm’s inclusion and diversity workstreams, allies network, mentoring schemes and its corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Rachel regularly runs training sessions for clients on a variety of equality matters and is a member of a number of forums and networks to continue to find inspiration for ways to make workplaces more inclusive and supportive.
