Our sustainability and environmental initiatives
We are committed to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development goals, through our unique contributions – our specialised products, knowledge and resources, and skills. At Brightmine, this is our commitment to HR leaders and their teams, ensuring they have access to the latest compliance and reward insights, data and resources, to lead with confidence.
Our focus at RELX is to deliver continuous improvement in our environmental performance year on year, reducing our energy and water consumption and reducing our emissions.
Our volunteering efforts
RELX Cares is our global community program that supports employee volunteering. Each September, we hold RELX Cares Month to celebrate our commitment to communities globally. During the month employees take part in hundreds of volunteering and fundraising events, including the Children’s Book Project and helping pack medical supplies for communities in crisis. Employees are allowed to take two days paid time-off per year for volunteering purposes.
We are also committed to giving back to our customer communities and have launched this year the Brightmine HR Scholarship program to advance the education of HR professionals in the UK and US.
