Set Clear Standards for Safe and Professional Conduct at Work‑Related Social Events
Work‑related social events are an important part of employee engagement—helping teams connect, celebrate success and build strong working relationships. But these events also present potential risks for employers if expectations around behaviour, safety and responsibility are not clearly defined.
Our Work‑related social events policy template provides HR teams with a ready‑to‑use framework to communicate what is expected from employees before, during and after company‑organised events. Created by HR and employment law experts, this policy helps organisations reduce risk, promote professionalism and protect employee wellbeing—whether events happen on-site, off-site or virtually.
Available exclusively through your Brightmine HR & Compliance Centre subscription, this template supports consistent HR practice and aligns your organisation with current best‑practice standards.
In this resource, you will find:
- Example policy wording
- Supporting guidance for using this policy
